This fourth and final installment of the Transformations Community Fall Workshop Series will be on learning the Resilience, Adaptation Pathways and Transformation Approach (RAPTA) to address complex problems. RAPTA is useful for addressing stresses and/or shocks such as the COVID-19 pandemic by assisting in defining action steps and creating robust and effective plans, partnerships and pathways.
The workshop will be led by Dr. Yiheyis Taddele Maru and Deborah O’Connell of the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) of Australia.
You will learn what RAPTA is and how and when it can be applied. You will then use RAPTA for a quick system description and analysis and apply it to COVID impacts on the food supply chain and international travel. From there, you will consider both broad and detailed options for future pathways. It will wrap up with a plenary discussion.
